Our Mission

Federal Contracting Online’s mission is to maximize the number of capable U.S. small businesses participating in the government marketplace, by :

  1. Providing small businesses nationwide with a good understanding of government contracting and also with the marketing know-how to successfully perform federal and local government work; and
  2. Supporting government agencies in reaching and working with the suppliers.

FCO Goals are to :
  1. Increase overall national security by fostering a broad base of capable small businesses;
  2. Promote competition and ensure that government agencies realize the best value from their procurement dollars;
  3. Improve local economies by helping US small businesses compete successfully for government contracts, thereby creating and retaining jobs, and bringing other economic benefits to states and local communities, and
  4. Government agency efforts to meet mandated small business goals.
